Last year, I did a cupcake product photo shoot for Cupcake Boutique in Lonehill. They really do make such divine and delish cupcakes…totally love them! They are perfect for any occasion and have so many different flavours!
Once I had finished with the serious stuff…thought it would be fun to do some ‘cupcake boudoir style photos‘…who said cupcakes weren’t boudoir! Hehe!
Leigh Wells kindly agreed to be my beautiful and stunning model…we shot in my kitchen (Leigh’s idea – loved it!) and had such fun…and a few cupcakes were eaten in the process…hehe!
Mrs S decided to book a shoot as a surprise 1 year anniversary gift for her hubby. However, as her anniversary was in a few weeks, the timing was tight to get everything done, designed and printed.
I managed to squeeze her into my schedule and we had such an awesome shoot, filled with lots of laughs and of course gorgeous images. Her beautiful and striking make-up was done by Shandre of Makeup by Shandre…Mrs S just loved the smokey eye Shandre did. Thank you Shandre for your beautiful work
After a lot of hard work from all involved, we managed to deliver her album in time for her anniversary…and her hubby loved it!

I recently photographed Miss F, from Joburg.co.za and Joburg’s Darling. We had such fun, Jana did the most beautiful make-up – loved the green eye shadow – looked so amazing and sexy!
Miss F was a little nervous at times but managed to calm her nerves and we had plenty laughs…and I spoke far too much…as usual! hehe!

Ms J is a sexy lady and mother of 1, who wanted a shoot for herself, as she was feeling like she wasn’t as gorgeous as she used to be…wow…was she wrong! She is smoking hot…look at her smouldering green eyes…they are stunning!
Jana from Jana Kriel Make up pampered Ms J and made her look like the vixen she is. I just love the purple eye shadow, really makes her eyes pop and brings out the green. Jana always does such a fantastic job…just love her work!

I recently photographed Miss N…who not only has the most amazing tattoo’s but also beauty and a gorgeous personality.
I loved the fact that she brought white, it is not a colour that many ladies bring and I think it photographs so well…especially if you have a little bit of a tan So ladies think about bringing white next time…its very feminine, soft and innocent.
We really had such fun and it was a real pleasure photographing Miss N…she has such natural beauty…and wow her body is amazing…it bends in ways you can’t imagine!
I recently did a shoot with the beautiful and sexy Miss B…she is a model that is just starting out in the industry and wanted to include some boudoir to her portfolio. I of course, jumped at the chance as she is so stunning and has the most incredible curves in just the right places
Candice assisted with the shoot… I am hoping to teach her and have her assist me a lot more in the future. However, this was her first boudoir shoot being the photographer and not the client. She did a fantastic job and took some fab images.

I have known Miss L for many years, we went to university together and used to live together. However, I have not seen her in a few years and was so excited when she contacted me to do a shoot…she is just so stunning, both inside and out.
Miss L brought along a selection of outfits and I must admit my favourite was the white shirt with black bra. It is so classy and sexy…I loved it! The other awesome props she bought were a mask and bubbles, simple yet so effective…and think we got some fantastic shots with them.

I know this is my Pretty Boudoir photo blog but I also feel that from these blogs and images you should get a sense of who I am. As a lot of who I am, is in my photography, so here is a little insight into me
I decided that I wanted a tattoo on my wrist…I already have 2 which I had done about 9 years ago. I have been thinking about getting another one for some years but hadn’t found a design that spoke to me. However, last week I found a design online, so I booked, paid and had it done yesterday.
The design I found was a Celtic heart design with the triquetra (all my tattoo’s are Celtic…they have a deep spiritual meaning for me). I had the tattoo done at Fallen Heroes in Parkhurst…like wow, fab place! I was so impressed with their professionalism and work…Bryan du Rand did such a fab job and I would highly recommend him for any work you want done. Go have a look at his portfolio…some really beautiful custom work!
Also, he really helped to calm me down, as he realised I was a little nervous. I was expecting it to be very painful…as the others were so long ago…I couldn’t remember. However, I must admit it hardly hurt…which was a pleasant surprise.
